The Leaky Cauldron's "Jingle Spells" Raises US$34,000 for Book Aid

Story Overview:
This last holiday season, Harry Potter fan site, The Leaky Cauldron , put together a charity event involving the sales of a Wizard Rock CD entitled "Jingle Spells". Book Aid International and PotterCast report a donation of US$34,000 (or AU$36379, also £17,000) from proceeds raised through this fund raiser. According to the hosts of PotterCast, the funds will be used by the charity to purchase over 17 thousand books to help promote literacy in developing countries.
